How to review a promising candidate with verification-sensitive requirements
Do not reject a promising candidate simply because a public source cannot prove a verification-sensitive requirement—and do not mark the requirement satisfied without evidence. Keep the candidate strong on demonstrated fit and explicit about what must be verified next.

Separate role fit from verification status
The candidate may strongly satisfy experience, skills, domain, and location while one credential remains unknown. Those dimensions should stay separate in the dossier.
Preserve the exact requirement
If the role requires TS/SCI, RN licensure, PE registration, or another specific status, do not weaken the requirement merely because the public evidence is incomplete.
Record the public breadcrumb accurately
A resume or profile can support language such as “public profile mentions Secret clearance” without claiming “current Secret clearance verified.”
Create a verify-next action
Use the appropriate authoritative or recruiter-led verification path before converting the requirement to confirmed.
