Candidate Evidence Review Checklist

A recruiter checklist for reviewing fit requirement by requirement instead of trusting one match score.

Use this during Candidate 360 review or calibration. Missing evidence should be labeled as missing, not automatically converted into a rejection.

Identity and source

  • Is the identity resolved confidently?
  • Which source profiles are linked?
  • Are there conflicting employer, location, or chronology signals?
  • Is prior recruiting history visible?

Requirement evidence

  • Evidence for each hard requirement:
  • Evidence for preferred criteria:
  • What is explicit vs inferred?
  • What is missing or ambiguous?
  • What requires recruiter verification?

Decision

  • Advance / hold / reject / verify?
  • Specific reason:
  • Does this feedback imply a search-plan change?
  • Should the learning be applied, edited, or rejected?

How to use this with SourcingOS

Keep the filled template as a working artifact rather than a one-time intake form. Update it after candidate calibration, preserve the difference between requirements and discovery expansion, and record the evidence that changes the next search.
