Data provenance and contactability

Finding information does not automatically make it appropriate for every use. SourcingOS keeps data provenance and intended use visible so training/evaluation material, production evidence, and contact signals do not silently collapse into one bucket.

Training and evaluation are separate

Datasets used to test parsers, taxonomies, matching, or ranking should not silently become a live recruiter candidate database.

Evidence is not contact permission

A public professional signal may support role research without providing a valid or appropriate outreach channel.

Provider data needs context

Licensed provider observations should retain provider/source context, confidence or verification information where available, and the workflow boundary that allowed the lookup.
